Slip-On Flange

A slip-on flange, or SO flange, is a circular component that slips onto a pipe end and is welded in place. It matches the pipe's outer diameter and is commonly used in piping systems for secure, leak-resistant connections. It's ideal for low-pressure, low-temperature applications due to its easy installation and cost-effectiveness. Slip-on flanges usually feature a raised face for gasket sealing and are attached to the pipe by welding on both sides, ensuring a secure connection.
