Blind Flange

A blind flange, also known as a blank flange or a blind plate, is a pipe flange type employed to seal the end of a pipe system or an opening in a vessel. It's a flat, circular plate without a central hole that is generally fastened to the pipe's end or the vessel's opening to block it. Blind flanges find frequent use when there's a need to permanently or temporarily close off a pipe or an opening, ensuring a robust, leak-proof seal.
